We are an approved training practice for fully qualified Doctors wishing to gain special experience in general practice. Please accept them as one of us. Drs Blacklay and Afzal are the trainers for this practice.

On occasions the doctors’ surgeries are videotaped, and we appreciate the help patients can give for this. This is purely for teaching purposes and patients are advised and asked for written consent before the consultation and again after the consultation; you are free to decline at any point.

We have other junior doctors training in the practice and also teach medical students and nurses from time to time, as part of their studies. Their presence is indicated at reception. Please tell the receptionist if you wish to see the Doctor alone.
